The process is quite simple and can be done in 2 ways. Either you can login to your LIC account or pay through your banks net banking account. Let’s discuss about them one by one.
Pay LIC Premium Through Credit card using LIC of India account
Just login to your LIC of India website and get access to your policy. You will find option to pay premium online in the left side.
On clicking on the link you will be redirected to the page where you will be showed the details of due premium of your policy.
Simply click on the Pay now button and you will be asking for various payment options available. You will find the options like Internet banking / Amex Cards / Debit cards / eWallets / Credit Cards.
Now choose your preferred option and go for he payment. After successful payment you will be acknowledged and also get premium payment receipts in your mail box.
Pay LIC Premium Through Credit Card Using Net Banking Facility
This is also very simple only. In that case you must have to full fill one condition that your credit card is linked with your savings bank account. E.g. if you are trying to pay your lic policy premium through HDFC bank then its better to link your HDFC bank credit card with your HDFC bank savings account.
Anyway, just login to your net banking account of your savings account from SBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank or any other bank in India.
You have to Add Lic policy as biller or beneficiary or add as payee first. Then like you pay for others through net banking you can pay your lic policy premium also. In that case you have to provide your policy number and the amount of premium to complete the payment process.
